Why?

Why?  That's the question that I haven't given a lot of thought to, I'm ashamed to admit.  It seems as though your reasons for supporting a couple or character should be vital.  Unfortunately, I have found that most people just skip on along to your guestbook or e-mil and decide to tell you how stupid you are rather than respecting your opinions.  I created my old "Why?" page to just throw together for a few days until it wasn't two in the morning and exams were looming dangerously close.  Those "few days" turned into December - June.  Heh.  While I'm redoing my page, I've decided to redo this section as well.

I try not to be prejudice when it comes to couples, though some just make me feel sick to think about.  Videl and Gohan, Bulma and Vegeta, Bulma and Yamucha (to an extent), ChiChi and Goku, 18 and Krillin.  They are the only established couples.  Anyone else your mind cooks up is not real.  So therefore, any opinions I express on this page are only opinions.  I have no right to say that you're a "stupid moron" for liking a couple, just as you have no right to say that to me.  I avoid DBZ yaoi (not that I don't have an open mind, please don't misunderstand) 'cause I prefer the straight couples in this show.  That's why I don't have yaoi and yuri mentioned on this page, and why I exclude it from the poll.  The only two characters I really hate are Pan and Uubu.  Therefore you won't see me jumping  for joy for Marron/Uubu, Bra/Uubu, and Pan/Uubu shrines.  If it makes you feel better to call me a racist, go right ahead, though it's not true;  I just think Uubu is annoying and hate to see him paired up with any of the other girls.  As for Pan...  She was okay in DBZ, annoying, but I could tolerate her.  In GT, she was my least favorite character.  Why?  I'm not quite sure.  It could be because all of those t/p fanfics on the net.  Which brings me to my next point.  T/P relationships are just wrong in my opinion, which might not mean all that much to you.  I'm not going to bring up the age difference, because I like the Bra/Goten pairing, and that would make me a hypocrite.  I just don't think that they go well together.  But I don't go search for T/P sites to flame, so I would appreciate it if you didn't do that to my site.  I can respect your opinion, you should respect mine.  Now let's move on to the real section of this page.

I never really thought of Bra and Goten as a couple (the age difference, ugh!) until I read "Just a Feeling" on GTM.  Then, I actually started to think about it.  It made sense to me.  She's spoiled (to an extent) and he's immature.  They're both wild and carefree, and I just think they're perfect for each other.  Once they became my favorite couple, I had a hard time imagining them with anyone else.  They both know how to have a good time, and just look so kawaii.  (okay, okay, I know that was superficial. Sorry)  I don't think that these two would make good parents, though.  Somehow I get the feeling that the child(ren) would end up being ignored and spoiled.  ^__^.

As for Trunks and Marron, I've liked them since I first read "Just a Feeling"  (Wow, that author converted me to two relationships with just one fanfic!).  I didn't really know who Marron was, but soon stumbled upon a Marron/Trunks shrine <It's closed now :(  >.  From there, I read fanfic after fanfic (Well, there weren't that many), and then I actually saw some fansubs with Marron in them.  Now, they tie with Bra/Goten as my favorite couple.  If you think about it long enough, it begins to make sense.  He's got a hotshot job, which leaves little time for dating (this is another reason that I feel Trunks and Pan wouldn't work.  Can you really imagine her not wanting to be the center of attention?).  Marron, on the other hand, would be good housewife material (wow, that sounded sexist).  She's kind and sweet, and the kind of person that could take care of Trunks.  I also think that this couple would make great parents to any little kiddies that they might have.  ^__^.
