Ghostly Galleon

Ghaleon is a 2006 smoky creme colt by perlino stallion PHPM Lord's Gift of Gold and out of PHS Golden Glory, foaled on Easter. He is the sweetest horse ever born here, always wanting attention.

His name is taken from the first stanza of the poem "The Highwayman" by Alfred Noyes.

"The wind was a torrent of darkness upon the gusty trees,
The moon was a ghostly galleon tossed upon cloudy seas,
The road was a ribbon of moonlight looping the purple moor,
And the highwayman came riding--
Riding--riding--
The highwayman came riding, up to the old inn door."

He has been genetically tested to be a smoky creme. "Ee aa"

Ghaleon will be retained for future breeding.
